In The Midst of A Storm
Posted on Jan 16, 2008 under Tom News | No CommentIt seems right now is the season for storms.
In my own life, my friends’ lives and in my extended family’s lives there is stormy weather.
Not all the storms are just out-right bad, some of them are just beating hard rain on us for now.
Some of us cry, “WHY me!” Some of us understand that the “why” question only clouds our vision. Some among us are just holding on, waiting for the storm to pass.
When I find myself in these times the Father draws me back to Gethsemane, to a garden, to a love- sick Saviour. To a man under such great duress that He sweats great drops of blood. But He is not bleeding because He is worried about His fate. He is stressed because for the first time He will be separated from the Father. But still He relinquishes Himself to the Father’s will.
Interesting thing about it is, when He lets go of control, the Father lets go of His Angels to minister to Him.
That night in prayer: Christ Was Not Alone!!!
This night in prayer: You will not be alone!!!
